Singing and Mental Health

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. A great way to tend to your mental health is through singing. Singing has been directly linked to releasing endorphins and decreasing cortisol. This proves that singing alone can help improve your brain’s function and help your mental health. Singing doesn’t have to be perfect and it doesn’t have to be for anyone but you. So sing! It can help you and your mental health.
